Xavier Carroll
My fitness journey started when my football career came to an end. Around the ages of 14 and 15, I became disillusioned with the sport and found myself with a lot of energy but no real outlet. Looking back, I was often chanelling that energy into the wrong places, so I decided to invest it into something that would benefit me long-term — and the gym became that place. Training gave me somewhere I could switch off, put my headphones on, challenge myself, and see the rewards of hard work. Thanks to my sporting background, I made physical progress quite quickly, but the biggest changes weren't just physical. The gym taught me two lessons that changed my life: self-discipline and confidence. Those are exactly the qualities I help my clients build — not just in the gym, but in everyday life too. I specialise in working with beginners because I know how daunting it can feel to walk into a gym without a clue where to start. My aim is to build your confidence and competence so that you're not just following a plan but are understanding your training and feeling capable on your own. I also believe fitness should be sustainable and enjoyable, not something you dread or burn out from. Whether your goal is to lose body fat, build muscle, improve your fitness, or simply feel more confident in yourself, I'll give you the structure, support, and accountability to get there — in a way that fits your life.
